Okuokpellagbe of Okpella, Michael Sado promises rapid devt of Kingdom...Vows to relocate Magistrate Court

Just days after his historic coronation ceremony, the Okuokpellagbe of Okpella, His Royal Majesty, Engr. Michael Sado, has reaffirmed his commitment to fostering development across the kingdom.

He made this known during an inspection of the proposed site for a new court complex and Police Area Command along the Ewor Market/Afokpella Road.

During a visit to the current magistrate court located within the premises of Ikpomaza Grammar School in Awuyemi and Okashe, the monarch expressed displeasure at the dilapidated state of the buildings.

His Majesty disclosed plans to relocate the magistrate court to a more central location within the community to provide a more conducive working environment for judicial staff.

According to him, the move will ensure that civil and criminal matters are handled within Okpella, rather than being transferred to Agenebode or other locations.

In a related development, the Okuokpellagbe and his entourage paid a courtesy visit to Alhaji Abdulkadiri Afegbua, a patriarch of the Afegbua royal family and a respected leader in Okpella. Council chiefs and village heads accompanying the monarch paid homage to the Oyolo, who was visibly pleased to receive His Majesty in his residence.

Upon returning to his palace, the Okuokpellagbe received in audience the branch manager and staff of Zenith Bank, Auchi branch, who paid a congratulatory visit in honour of his coronation. The monarch held further discussions with the bank officials on the possibility of establishing a banking presence in Okpella.
