Bob Izua Boss defends Gov Okpebholo ...Urges critics to focus on 2025 budget content over presentation gaffe

Chief John Osamede Adun, the Ayobahan of Benin Kingdom and CEO of Bob Izua conglomerate, has criticized those attacking Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo over a gaffe made during the presentation of the 2025 budget to the state House of Assembly. 


In a chat with newsmen in Benin City, Chief Adun emphasized that the focus should be on the content of the budget and its potential impact, not on the governor’s eloquence. 

He called for critics to offer prayers and support to ensure effective governance, noting that even prominent leaders are not immune to public missteps.

Nigeria and Africa must return to the use of clay vessels for cooking, eating and drinking if the continent is to tackle rising public health challenges and reduce billions spent on disease treatment, a university don has said. Delivering the 134th Inaugural Lecture of Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma, Edo State, Professor Emmanuel Eghe Egbon, a scholar of Analytical and Environmental Chemistry, urged Nigerians to embrace clay as a multifunctional earth material that promotes healthier living and sustainable communities.
