Edo 2024: Iduoriyekemwen Challenges Oshiomhole’s Role in APC Governorship Campaign
By Eben Enasco
In a bold political maneuver, Hon. Matthew Iduoriyekemwen, Director General of the Asue and Ogie Campaign Organization, has accused Adams Oshiomhole of overshadowing the official APC governorship candidate, Monday Okpebholo.
Speaking at a Peoples Democratic Party rally in Ehor and Abudu on Monday, Iduoriyekemwen claimed that Oshiomhole's prominent role in the APC campaign is a deliberate attempt to sideline Okpebholo, raising questions about Oshiomhole's true intentions.
The former majority leader of the Edo State House of Assembly suggested that Oshiomhole's actions reveal a deeper rift within the APC, contrasting this with the unity and transparency championed by the PDP's candidate, Dr. Asue Ighodalo.
Highlighting the strong turnout at the PDP rallies, Iduoriyekemwen urged voters to support Ighodalo, who he assured would prioritize the welfare of Edo’s citizens and avoid the pitfalls of corruption.
Iduoriyekemwen's assertions have added a new layer of intrigue to the Edo 2024 race, potentially undermining confidence in the APC’s campaign and positioning the PDP as a party of integrity and unity.
