Law Firm Challenges Funeral Announcement, Defends Eldest Son's Rights



Benin City – The Idahosa Moses Law Firm, based in Benin City, has issued a statement disputing a recent funeral announcement for Mr. Andrew Uangbaoje, the late Managing Director of SDD Motors Ltd. 

The law firm claims that the announcement, which omitted the name of Mr. Ozoya Benedict Uangbaoje, the eldest surviving son of the deceased, is misleading and malicious.

In a statement made available to journalists in Benin City, Idahosa Moses Esquire described the omission of Mr. Ozoya Benedict Uangbaoje's name from the furial announcement as both "misleading and mischievous." 

The firm, acting on behalf of Ozoya condemned the exclusion as an attempt by certain individuals to "reap where they did not sow."

The law firm also criticized the ongoing funeral arrangements, led by Mr. Nicholas Uangbaoje and others, which have proceeded without involving the deceased's eldest son. 

The statement likened the situation to a "comedy show" and called the treatment of Mr. Ozoya Benedict Uangbaoje inhumane. 

Idahosa Moses Law Firm further indicated that this matter is likely to result in litigation and urged the public to disregard the current media reports, reaffirming that Mr. Ozoya Benedict Uangbaoje is indeed the eldest surviving son of the late Mr. Andrew Uangbaoje. 

The statement highlighted that there was no estrangement between father and son, as the elder Uangbaoje had been financially supporting his son's education up until his recent passing.
