APC Urges Edo South to Support Party in Governorship Poll
The leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Edo State has called on residents of the Edo South Senatorial District to vote for the party, asserting that the other two Senatorial Districts have pledged their support.
During a campaign in Egor Local Government Area, APC Campaign Council Director General, Senator Matthew Urhoghide, assured that the party and its candidate, Monday Okpebholo, will deliver on their promises if elected.
Former Deputy Governor of Edo State, Dr Pius Odubu criticized the current PDP-led government, labeling it as ineffective and urging voters to reject it on September 21, governorship election
Odubu highlighted the Obaseki administration’s failure to inaugurate 14 elected lawmakers in 2019, including Egor’s Crosby Eribo.
Former APC governorship candidate, Ize-Iyamu also condemned Governor Obaseki's tenure, advocating for Okpebholo as the right choice.
Edo Deputy Governor, Comrade Philip Shaibu and Prince Eweka echoed the call for voters to reject the PDP and support the APC.
A former governor of the state, Senator Adams Oshiomhole criticized the PDP government for allegedly mistreating market women, urging residents to vote for change.
