Edo 2024: Ex - LG V. Chairman congratulates APC Candidates

A former Vice Chairman of Ikpoba Okha Local Government Area of Edo State and a leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the locality, Hon Jeffery Osamede Edorodion has sent a message of congratulations to the candidate of the party in the forthcoming Governorship election in the state, Senator Monday Okpebholo and the deputy governorship candidate, Hon. Dennis Idahosa on their emergence.

In the message which was made available to newsmen in Benin City, Hon Edorodion also congratulated the leadership of the party, both at the national and state levels for what he described as wise choices.

He thanked the leadership of the party for intervening in what he said almost tore the party apart.

Describing the candidacy of Okpebholo and Idahosa as well thought of, he expressed optimism that they possess the character and clout that can make them win Edo for the APC.

Hon Edorodion used the occasion to call on all the party members to close ranks and form a united front to wrestle power from the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the September 22 governorship election.

Nigeria and Africa must return to the use of clay vessels for cooking, eating and drinking if the continent is to tackle rising public health challenges and reduce billions spent on disease treatment, a university don has said. Delivering the 134th Inaugural Lecture of Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma, Edo State, Professor Emmanuel Eghe Egbon, a scholar of Analytical and Environmental Chemistry, urged Nigerians to embrace clay as a multifunctional earth material that promotes healthier living and sustainable communities.
