BENIN CITY - A former Vice Chairman of Ikpoba Okha Local Government Area of Edo State and a leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the locality, Hon Jeff Osamede Edorodion has charged the party's candidate for the September 2024 governorship election in the state, Hon. Monday Okpebholo to immediately set up a peace and reconciliation committee to reconcille members of the party who are aggrieved over the party's primary election.

In a chat with newsmen in Benin City, Hon Edorodion said that this was necessary because politics is about inclusion

He also urged aggrieved members of the party to sheath their sword and put aside their post primary election differences in the interest of the party.

According to him, the time is rife for all the party stakeholders to be united in order to have a united front that can prosecute the governorship election so that the APC can take back the state.

While congratulating Hon Okpebholo and the leadership of Edo APC for the successful party primary election, Hon. Edorodion expressed optimism that the candidacy of Okpebholo will bring peace and development to Edo State.

He charged leaders of the party, including, a former Governor of Edo State, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole and Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu to come together with their supporters to lead the campaign for APC to emerge victorious in the governorship election, assuring that Ikpoba Okha would contribute its quota towards the victory of the party in Edo
