Obagie N'Evbuosa gets new Okaighele

OBAGIE N'EVBUOSA - Obagie N'Evbuosa community in Ikpoba Okha Local Government Area of Edo State has appointed Mr Uyi Igiebor as the new Okaighele of the community.

He takes over from Festus Ekenaye Edegbe who has been elevated into the Council of Elders of the community. 

At a meeting of the Council of Elders held at the residence of the Odionwere (Head) of the community, Pa Aiguobatile Omozuhiomwen, the elders urged the former Okaighele to present himself for the initiation into the Council of Elders 

The elders however did not state when the initiation ceremony of the former Okaighele into the Council of Elders would take place.

The Odionwere of the community advised the new Okaighele to unite the people of the community for the common good, while urging him to shun divisive tendencies.

In his remarks, Uyi Igiebor expressed gratitude to the Council of Elders and the people of the community for the confidence reposed in him.

He promised to operate an open door policy devoid of rancour and bitterness so that Obagie N'Evbuosa community can be repositioned for the benefit of all.

At an interactive session with the youths, a leader of the community, Hon. Osamede Edorodion urged the people to forgive one another their transgressions in the interest of the growth and progress of the community.

He retreated the need for unity amongst the various stakeholders so that the development of the community can get priority attention
