Nigeria @ 63: Edo LP felicitates with Nigerians

BENIN CITY - The  Edo  State chapter of Labour Party (LP) has said that the vision of the party is to build a nation where every citizen has equal rights and opportunities and the government is accountable to the people.

This was contained in a goodwill message signed by the Chairman of LP in the state, Comrade Kelly Ogbaloi in his goodwill message on Nigeria's 63rd Independent Anniversary.


He urged Nigerians to reflect on the achievements the past and work together towards a brighter future for all Nigerians.

According to him, "Over the years, Nigeria and Nigerians have faced numerous challenges as a result of inept leadership, but, it is in times of adversity that we have demonstrated our strength as a nation.

He commended every Nigerian for their unwavering commitment to progress, peace, and the pursuit of a better society in  the face of perennial leadership trauma.


He said that LP understands the importance of unity and inclusiveness in nation-building. 

"We stand committed to promoting policies that prioritize the welfare, empowerment and development of all Nigerians. 

"Our vision is to build a nation where every citizen has equal opportunities, a vibrant economy, and a government that is accountable and transparent.

"Let us reaffirm our commitment to working together as one country, irrespective of our diverse backgrounds, to build a Nigeria we can all be proud of. 

"As we celebrate our past achievements, let us also envision a future where the dreams of our young people can thrive and where every Nigerian can realize their full potential.

"We express our gratitude to the Nigerian people for their continuous support and belief in our party's ideals; together, we can overcome our national challenges through people centric leadership, ideology for which the labour Party is birthed," he added.
