7th Coronation Anniversary: Azemhe Azena salutes Oba Of Benin

BENIN CITY - A frontline Edo governorship aspirant on the platform of  the Labour party (LP), Dr. Azemhe Azena has felicitated with the Benin Monarch, His  Royal Majesty, Omo N' Oba N' Edo Uku Akpolokpolo, Ewuare II CFR who marks his birthday and 7th coronation anniversary in Benin City on Friday October 20, 2023

In a message of felicitation, Dr. Azemhe Azena paid tribute to the Oba whom he described as a reference point in traditional institutions in Nigeria, in view of his fatherly and humanitarian disposition, as well as wise counsel.

Dr Azena in the message said that the Oba since ascension to the throne, has continued to promote peace, stability, and progress in Edo state and the entire Nigeria.

He therefore prayed the God Almighty and the ancestors to grant the Benin Monarch many more years of fruitful reign on the exalted throne; good health, vitality, wisdom and strength to  contribute more to the advancement and development of the society.

Return to clay vessels 'll save Nigeria billions in healthcare - Don

Nigeria and Africa must return to the use of clay vessels for cooking, eating and drinking if the continent is to tackle rising public health challenges and reduce billions spent on disease treatment, a university don has said. Delivering the 134th Inaugural Lecture of Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma, Edo State, Professor Emmanuel Eghe Egbon, a scholar of Analytical and Environmental Chemistry, urged Nigerians to embrace clay as a multifunctional earth material that promotes healthier living and sustainable communities.
