AAU Constitutes SUG Caretaker C'ttee

EKPOMA - The Management of Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma has constituted a 7-man Caretaker Committee to oversee the administration of the Students Union Government (SUG) for the 2022/2023 academic year following the dissolution of the Oshioke Abdulfatai Ibrahim led SUG in the wake of continued protest over what  the students said was hike in tuition fees.


Ogbewi Liberty is to preside over the caretaker committee; Udih Kessiena would function as the Vice President, while Idahosa John Omoh would function as the Secretary-General, according to a release signed by the Acting  Dean of Students, Engr. Dr. E. Ufuah.

According to the release, the decision was arrived at after due consultations with relevant authorities and other stakeholders

The appointed students are to  be in the office pending the conduct of an election, the release added
